Crowns & Caps

This procedure is conducted for patients missing a part of their tooth, for a tooth that has just undergone root canal therapy, or for patients simply in need of remedying defective restorations. The types of crowns we offer include porcelain crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays. All our restorations are made using only a master laboratory technician.

Porcelain Crowns are very esthetic, can be matched to any tooth color, and provides a natural appearance next to existing teeth. No metal is used so unwanted dark lines or grayish tissues will not occur. Natural tooth color and gum tissue will always be achieved.

Veneers are used for cosmetic purposes to hide deep, unwanted tooth stains, correct tooth positions that are slightly out of line or as an alternative to closing gaps between teeth. Prior to having your veneers made, a wax-up is made on diagnostic models to design your original, customized smile. This is your chance to approve your customized smile prior to receiving treatment. The advantage of Veneers is that you have instant results.

Inlay and Onlay Restorations are made out of porcelain ceramic. This type of crown protects the area that was once occupied by a defective filling. This restoration is more conservative and localized on the tooth. This type of restoration is used in place of a resin restoration and has the advantage of being more durable and wear-resistant than resin.
